KOHEI NAWA

Kohei Nawa’s “Catalyst#25” will be presented at Detour Tokyo, an exhibition to be held at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT in Tokyo. The Catalyst series is created using thermoplastic materials on a support surface, where flowing matter traces wandering lines within the tension between randomness and control brought by thermal energy.

This exhibition is part of a traveling project organized by Moleskine and Moleskine Foundation, showcasing works selected from its collection of 1,600 notebook artworks in response to each location’s cultural context. This marks Nawa’s first participation in this project under curation of Yuko Hasegawa.
