Permanent Outdoor Sculpture : Trans-Deer (Flame)

We are pleased to present a new permanent sculpture by Kohei Nawa, “Trans-Deer (Flame),” that has been installed at Nanjo Art Museum in Okinawa.
The deer rises from Okinawa’s Nanjo city, its body wrapped in forms reminiscent of thermal currents, its antlers flickering like the tips of rising flames. Draped in a luminous silver-pink, it stands in striking contrast with the dense greenery, resonating with the concentrated energy of Okinawa’s geography and culture.
