Transfer

Various materials are placed on special paper that does not absorb water, and paint is poured into the spaces between the paper and the materials. In the process of water evaporation, the paint dries over time and the texture of the material is transferred onto the paper. When the material is removed from the solidified paint, a three-dimensional texture with a different expression is revealed, depending on the composition of the paint and the difference in the particle size of the pigments. Transfer" takes the material as a tactile object of perception, and by using the paint as a medium to copy it onto a flat surface, a tactile layer emerges on the smooth surface of the paper.
