Solo Exhibition : Fountain
Kohei Nawa will present a solo exhibition Fountain at Ginza Tsutaya Books GINZA ATRIUM, Tokyo, Japan.
To mark the launch of a book associated with the performance works “VESSEL”, “Mist”, and “Planet [wanderer]” produced with choreographer Damien Jalet, Nawa will exhibit related two-dimensional works. In addition, the exhibition includes silkscreen prints from his “Esquisse” series—based on drawings from the very start of his career—and the “Fountain” sculpture. Several exhibits are shown in public for the first time. Taken as a whole, this presentation represents the development of Kohei Nawa’s thinking from early days to the present, and hints at the cross-genre connections between his two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and performance works.
