Manifold
“Manifold,” a word which signifies having multiple forms or a pipe branching into many openings, is a large-scale sculpture based on the theme of 'information, substance, energy.' The spheres (cells) of digital clay are made in 3D virtual space, as they collide and deform from gravitational pull. The work alludes to inflation of an information system and critical issues on energy sources.
