Biota (Fauna/Flora)
”Biota (Fauna/Flora)” emerges from physical chaos to conceive new forms of life. The work conjures the mysterious power of the Inujima island, the sacred essence of unknown creatures in existence since ancient times, and anticipation for forthcoming lives. Expanding dynamically across the entire architectural space, this specially dedicated body of work is made into three different fields, responding to the specific environments of the location. An ecological term, biota, suggests a grouping of animals, plants, and all other organisms that share one geographical location.
