今年9月に開館する十和田市地域交流センターを記念して、同館と十和田市現代美術館において、彫刻家・名和晃平の個展「名和晃平　生成する表皮（Genetarive Interface）」が始まった（十和田市地域交流センターは10月1日からを予定）。本展のための最新作とともに、大学院生時代のドローイングシリーズ「Esquisse」で構成される空間は、彼の創作の思考をたどれる貴重な体験を提供する。オープニング記念として催されたアーティスト・トークとともにレポートする。
